Mary Magdalene on Easter Vigil

My Lord Jesus is in the tomb.
But he said, On the third day I will rise.
I know he will rise.
Because he said so.

But I can't wait any longer.
Only a few more hours...
What will he look like?
Will I recognize him?

I want to touch him, be hugged by him.
I want to get lost in those loving eyes.
I want to hear the voice that can calm a storm.
I want to be embraced by his silence.

I want to kiss my Lord.
Arise, Beloved.
